Resolve Basics

In this videos we add the ColorGradr plugin in both Edit and Color, and demonstrate its functionality.

In V2.4, we added the ability to set your preferred black and white target levels, this makes working with log colorspaces easy.

You can see how the automatic fix can be exported as either a .cube file, or as a .ccc file, which can then be opened in Resolve (or other systems).

Match different angles and cameras by using ColorGradr’s Fix, and getting visually  close, then use Resolve’s ‘Shot Match to this Clip’.

Remember to turn on the audio, or turn on captions/subtitles for your local language to follow along.

Please note ‘.ccc’ files only work in Resolve and Rio.
